Reason
An auxiliary guide has been added at the fixing assembly inlet guide to prevent creasing when copying
with roll paper.
Details
[Phenomenon]
When copying with roll paper, creasing of papers during fixing may occur if there is much paper curl.
[Cause]
When there is much paper curl, the angle at which the paper enters into the fixing roller is different at
the center than the ends of the paper to cause creasing during fixing.
[Factory measure]
An auxiliary guide has been added to both sides of the fixing assembly inlet guide (between ribs 3 and
4) to correct the inlet angle of the ends of roll paper.

Servicing
: If paper creases during fixing occur as described above, attach the auxiliary guide to the fixing
assembly, then make copies and check if the problem of creasing still returns.
