1. Games will be 3 periods of 20 minutes, with the final 5 or 10 minutes of the 3rd period being stop time depending on the division if the goal difference is within 3 goals. 2. Tied games will be decided by a shootout with each team selecting 3 shooters alternating shots until a winner is determined, or sudden death shootout if still tied. 3. The referee's decisions are final and poor sportsmanship will result in a team not being invited back to future tournaments.

TOURNAMENT RULES

1. Each game shall commence within 5 minutes of posted time, and shall terminate at posted time. All
periods are straight 20-minute time, except in the 3rd period whereby the final 5 minutes will be stop
time if the difference in goals is not greater than 3 goals.
2.A Mens Final game will be 3 20 minute periods, however, if that goal difference is 3 goals or less, the
last 10 minutes will be stop time. If tied there will be overtime periods no shoot-outs to decide game.
3. Tied games shall be decided by shoot-out. In the shoot-out each team selects 3 shooters.Teams
alternate shooters until all 3 players on each team have had a chance to shoot, The team with the
most goals in this shoot-out is declared the winner. If they are still tied, then the game enters a suddendeath
shoot-out with teams alternating shooters until one team scores and the other does not.
NO PLAYERS ARE TO SHOOT TWICE UNTIL ALL PLAYERS HAVE HAD THERE SHOT.
4. No deliberate body checking allowed.
5. Verbal abuse to the referee will not be tolerated. At referees discretion, such abuse will result in a 10minute misconduct or a bench minor penalty, and if it continues a game misconduct for the player, or in the
event the abuse comes from the bench, a game misconduct for a player on the ice. Poor sportsmanship will
result in that team not being invited back.
6. Minor penalties: 3 minutes during straight time, 2 minutes during stop time.
7. Major penalties: Fighting etc.:1st offense-games misconduct plus suspension for next game; 2nd offensegame misconduct, plus tournament suspension.
8. Match or Gross Penalty: Game misconduct, plus tournament suspension;
9. Misconducts: 10 minutes during straight or stop time. Any MISC, GAME MISC or GAME EJECTION
penalty assessed in the last 10 minutes of the 3rd period will "ONLY" result in the player being
removed from the remainder of that current game, "NO" further games will be missed.
A Major, Gross or Match penalty will still follow rules 7 and 8 above.
10. Helmets shall be worn during all games and Fridays shootout for insurance coverage.
11. BCAHA or CAHA rules apply where not covered above.

Slap Shots Are Allowed

And There Is No Centre Line.

REFEREES DECISION IS FINAL.


12. Mens Div.Players can play for ONE OR MORE TEAMS and must be registered on each teams player
roster prior to teams first game of the tournament. Womens Div. Players can only play for one team
and must be registered on their teams player roster prior to teams first game of the tournament.
13. MINIMUM

AGE IS 19, JUNIOR, MINOR HOCKEY, PROFESSIONAL AND


MINOR-PRO PLAYERS UNDER CONTRACT OR CARDED OF THE 2015-2016 SEASON
ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PLAY BEFORE AND UP TO END OF TOURNAMENT. BUT
GOALIES , COLLEGE, UNVERSITY AND SENIOR PLAYERS ARE EXEMPT.
