WHY IS THIS LOCATION SUITABLE FOR YOUR PROJECT?


It is suitable because both me and the model are able to get to the location easily and the park is
big meaning that we are less likely to affect anyone who is in the park. It also offers the type of
background for the picture that I want due to the main theme being winter.

Due to this being a public park I wont need permission to be on
the premises but I may need permission to be able to take the
photos in this area due to it being public.

I will be using a space of around 5m by 5m
Describe any restrictions/hazards in the immediate vicinity:
Some restrictions that could occur include the park being too busy and this means that people
might be in the background of the picture so I would have to change the site of the location or
change the day.
For the pictures I wanted snow or frost in the background as this links to the theme of winter but
this is unlikely now due to the weather
Where will the crew work on this location?
The crew will be stood up behind the camera further away from the trees than the cast so that both
the model and the trees will in in the photos
Where will the cast work on this location?
The cast will be in front of a group of trees as they will act as the background for the photos

(N.B. this does not replace the Risk Assessment form which must be carried out for any practical project)

There is a risk to the equipment as there is a change that it could get dropped and broken
Due to the outdoor environment and the weather if it started raining there would be a risk of
equipment damage.
There is also the risk that we could fall over due to in being a public park so it is likely there will be
thinks on the floor like sticks that could cause us to fall over and if it was raining the day before they
there is a change the ground will still be wet increasing the risk of us falling over

Describe the aesthetics of the location (e.g. Describe the potential camera shots or describe the
acoustic value of the location)

Within this location I am able to use natural lighting due to it being outdoors, I am also able to use
the scenery from park in my photos as the main theme for the photos in winter and fashion, so the
location links to the theme and this can be used as the background.
