During my time spent studying at Southampton Solent I studied a number


of different units, including marketing planning, business law, business
consultancy and international marketing. The units involved a variety of
presentations, exams and reports.
In my HND business consultancy unit, I worked with a local financial
outsourcing company in Southampton to help them improve their strategy
to reach out and attract new clients.

My time spent at The Social bar in Southampton alongside studying my
marketing degree has helped me with my time management as well as
the skills I have gained from the job itself. Being a bartender at The Social
has helped me to further improve my customer service skills especially
during busy and stressful periods of the day. I have the responsibility of
looking after the bar and making sure customers are satisfied with their
experience while at the venue. This has helped me to develop my people
skills further, understanding different ways to treat different people in
various situations.
Amazon fulfilment centre

Within the first 2 weeks of my employment with Amazon I was able to
demonstrate my work ethic straight away. This lead to a promotion within
2 weeks to an ambassador. This meant that I would be training new
employees, making sure they worked in an efficient and safe manner.
Skills
In my final year at university I captained the Southampton Solent
University wakeboard team. This has given me added responsibility in my
final year of my degree. Its a society of 15 people and has involved
organising nights out, a Christmas party which included 45 people as we
joint up with the other extreme sports societies, communicating between
JB ski wake park and the university as well as driving the team to and from
JB ski which is about 1 and a half hours each way in a minibus.
I have worked with computers my whole life and have a good
understanding of various software such as excel and Microsoft office.

I have a full, clean UK driving license.
