The 2nd grade students will be focusing on nonfiction reading and writing, as well as multistep math word problems, natural and man-made resources in science, and national holidays in social studies. There is no school on Monday due to a holiday. Daily homework includes reading comprehension packets, math worksheets, spelling practice, and reading for 20 minutes. Tests will cover nonfiction text features, national holidays, and natural/man-made resources.
