B LD-1 Landfill & Digestor Flares

Landfill and sewage digestor gases can contain hazardous compounds and odors. NAO designs flare systems to safely and odorlessly dispose of these gases when recovery systems are down or not economical. Their enclosed flares are compact, virtually invisible, smokeless and noise-free. NAO systems use reliable ignition and monitoring to ensure complete combustion of gases from landfills, sewage digestors, and sour gas sources.

NAO Landfill and Digestor Flares

#Safety and environmental protection with hazardous vapors
I) reliable odor-free disposal when recovery systems are down

Landfill and sewage digestor gases can be

valuable energy sources. But there are odor
problems. These waste gases contain
hydrogen sulfide and other foul-smelling
sulfurous hydrocarbons.
When clean-up/recovery operations arent
economically vrable - or in the case of
equipment malfunctions - safe, odor-free
drsposal of the volatile gases is necessary.
With more than 80 years of combustion
expertise, NAO has pioneered inncvations
for disposal of waste gases, onshore and
offshore. Our landfill, digestor gas and sour
gas flaring systems incorporate state-of-theart technology. NAO enclosed landfill flares,
for example, are compact, virtually invisible,
smokeless and noise-free.
