Calculating Slope - Archtoolbox

The document discusses three methods for calculating slope: gradient, percentage, and degrees. It explains how to calculate the slope gradient by writing it as a ratio of rise over run using the same units. It also describes how to calculate slope percentage by dividing the rise by the run and multiplying by 100. Finally, it notes that calculating slope in degrees requires using the tangent function and taking the inverse tangent of the rise over run ratio.
