The artifact shown is the IGDIs snapshot of the percentage of students that are meeting or above
target for the winter assessment.
C- I can use this assessment to guide my instruction to know who I need to work on more intense
interventions with or who I need to do interventions with. IGDIs can show me if students need
to work on letter sounds or rhyming.
F- We looked at our data from IGDIs as a team. We were able to look at who needs help in
specific areas: rhyming, letter sounds, alliteration, which one doesnt belong, or picture naming.
While looking at the students and their scores, I was able to identify students who have made
improvements since the beginning of the school year.
Reflection on artifact (what went right, what went wrong, how to make better)
It is always good to talk amongst others about how all the preschool students are doing and what
we can be doing differently to improve our overall testing scores. After looking at the IGDIs
letter-sound assessments, it was decided that we need a curriculum for teaching sounds.
