Unit of Inquiry:

Central Idea: The


interdependence of insects and
other living things impact our
environment.
This week we will continue
reading about lady bugs and
their impact on the
environment. We will be doing a
ladybug craft with painting.
We will also review the physical
characteristics of insects and
the butterfly life cycle and will
continue learning about the
meaning of interdependence in
a kid friendly version.

Home Connection:
Enjoy your break and send loads of
pictures to share in class when !

Literacy Inquiry:
This week we will be practicing
with the formation of letter
Xx. We will create an X-ray
craft and our own Xylophone!
We will be focusing on the sight
words and reviewing at family
words.

Math Inquiry:
In math, we will be working on
reciting numbers up to minimum
30 and beyond till 100 in the
correct order.
