Int. bedroom - morning

Opens from white to a mid shot of girl ** in bed facing away from
the camera. After this there will be multiple close ups of things in
her room to give the audience a quick insight into her
life/personality (top on the floor, glass whale and a messy desk).
Cuts to a long shot of Mia getting lazily out of bed and getting
dressed, showing the whole room instead of just small details.
Ext. Henley College - morning
Cuts to a pan shot of Mia holding books walking down through
college by herself, she then sees a group of popular people, she
stares at them, as she secretly wanted to be a part of their group,
they turn and see her staring, Mia immediately looks way. Extreme
close ups of the groups face and clothes.
Cuts to a shot of Mia lip syncing against a wall.
Int. bedroom morning
Mia is lip syncing into a mirror whilst putting on makeup. A
montage style dress sequence begins with her struggling to put on
a top, falling onto her bed when trying to put on leggings and
finally putting on a coat.
Int. hallway morning
Group of people are talking in a hall way before lessons, Mia walks
past wearing her new clothes, the group instantly begins to laugh
at her as she desperately tries to get past the maze of legs blocking
her path to escape the laughter.

Ext. bedroom afternoon

Mai runs into her room, devastated, she throws her coat at the floor
but trips and falls to the floor. This is then led to her lip syncing on
the floor.
She then stares at herself in the mirror pushing her stomach down.
She lies on the bed cuddling a teddy bear, after a while she throws
the teddy bear away and grabs a book on the side table, and begins
to write her bad qualities about herself (fat, stupid). A close up of
Pokemon cards being thrown away into the bin.
Int. bedroom morning
Long shot of Mia leaving her room in emo clothing, cuts to her
going down the stairs in nerd clothes.
Ext. driveway - morning
Cuts to her on her drive way walking around the corner wearing
relaxed clothes, cuts to her just after the bend wearing popular
clothes.
Ext. College morning
Mia walks up towards the group of people and barges through the
crowed wearing her original clothes.
**For the purposes of the script the girl will be referred as Mia

I have kept my props to the minimal; I did this as they are not the main focus in
the music video as the video is about the costumes instead of props. The props I
am using, like a hair brush is the stereotypical for the target audience of the
song, as I hope to create a relatable music video for my target audience.

Hazards

Solutions:

Tripping hazards around the house,

cables and unwanted props around the
house.

Hide props before filming and be

careful when filming to prevent

I decided to use this location as it is easily accessible for me as well as for the
actor, as well as providing all the needed and requirements for filming most of
the scenes.

Lighting Information:

Solutions:

Natural lighting, with trees that create

shadow.

Weather dependent, with it being

winter most likely the weather will be
cloudy. If it rains I will use umbrellas to
protect the equipment. Rain will not
affect the shoot.

Sound Information:

Solutions:

The quality will be bad as the area is

busy with college students as well as
cars passing by.

To manage this I will film during

lessons to make sure there are fewer
students, however for my video a
number of students are needed to
make the college look alive and less
abandoned.

Power Information

Solutions:

There are no power sources outside so

there is no possibility to use none
battery powered lights.

I will use cameras that run on

batteries, they will be fully charged
and I will film during college time so
there will not be any need for any
extra lighting.

Hazard

Solutions:

The main hazard is that passers-by will

look at the camera, ruining the shot.

There isnt really anything I can do

about this except film at a less busy
time to reduce the chances of this
happening.

I chose this location as it allows offers a relatable situation of the viewer as well
as having students in the area which will help give the correct atmosphere for
my music video. This location also has a wide verity of helpful equipment which I
can use.
