This offense occurred at 3150 East Ledbetter Drive, Dallas, Dallas County, Texas. ‘The facts ofthis offense are as follows: On Friday, March 4, 2016 at about 1:00 PM, Wits; ei WHMRIBN siated she heard a verbal argument outside of the store followed by a gun shot. Witness Tw then looked ouside of the store and saw suspect Corey Freeman holding a gun that was poinled at complainant Davolya Lewis. Witness QE observed suspect Freeman fie the gun at complainant Lewis, Suspect Freeman then placed the gun in his Waistband and ran down the stret. (On Friday, March 4, 2016 at about 5:30 P.M,, witness fgg came to the Dallas Police Department ‘Headquarters building and provided a video recorded statement to Detective Frank Serra #10031, who was the lead detective inthis investigation. Witness Aggy confirmec that she believed the suspect's name to be "Corey." Detective Serra determined the suspect's identification through the Dallas Police Department's Gang Unit. Witness WM Was showa a blind sequential photo lineup by Officer Sonya Killebrew #9336. This lineup resulted in the positive identifistion of suspect Freeman as the individual who shot complainant Lewis at 3150 East Ledbetter Drive, Detective Frank Serra #1003), of Crimes Against Persons Division, Assault Unit, investigated this offense while complainant Lewis remained in critical condition.
