Community Health Worker Committee
I.
OBJECTIVES
1. To be able to educate and train the group about different procedures that will
give them knowledge and proper trainings regarding basic health procedures.
2. To be able to produce a bluebook of procedures that will serve as a guidelines for
the community health workers.
II. GOAL
To produce knowledgeable, skilled and trained individuals that will be in-charged
in the health of the community.

OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the rotation, the members of the Ways and Means committee
will be able to:
1.Understand the duties and responsibilities on being a member of Ways
and Means committee.
2.Actively participate to the activities and programs of the organization.
3.Show Willingness to cooperate and participate on every program.
II.GOAL
To create an Organization that will continue all the implemented plans for
the community after our rotation and to build independent and selfreliant leaders that can lead the organization and be a role model to its
members.

2. Fundraising activities
Second hand clothing fashion parade and sale - Collect your teams gently worn,
barely used clothes or artifacts and host a weekend sale or auction. You can also
take pictures of the items beforehand, post them on social networks and generate
buzz around your event.
Donate for Talent - Crowdsource talent with this quick fundraising idea and put on
a talent show. In addition to an entry fee, supporters can donate to cast votes for
winning numbers of different categories.
Donations in lieu of gifts instead of Christmas, wedding or birthday gifts, why not
consider asking for donations instead.
Seasonal or themed fair hold a Valentines, Easter or Christmas fair, selling crafts,
pastillas/yema/polvoron with a twist, cards and homemade gifts.
Trash Art Auction- This quick fundraising idea isnt just for the eco-friendly, but for
all creative types. Enlist local artists to create some avant-garde masterpieces
out of recyclables or other waste products. Local artists and supporters can pay a
nominal registration fee to have their pieces showcased, and attendees can pay a
registration fee to browse the collection.
Hairless Fundraisers - Participants pledge to shave their heads (or long-lasting
beards) to raise money.
Scavenger Hunt - Organize a scavenger hunt and send participants all around
community. Charge a registration fee and offer extra tips and hints for different
donation amounts.
