COMPANY PROFILE
Third Power Manufacturing & Distribution is an upcoming food manufacturing firm that specializes
on producing of Cocoa Cube. The name Third Power was given by the four owner of the business who
runs the company from day-to-day basis.
The company will begin as a small manufacturing business that aims to establish its role in the
industry as a manufacturer of a new product venture, in the economy as a provider of a cheap but
healthy cube drink, in the country as a consumer of local goods, and in the market as the first
company which produces high-end products to help the consumer with their daily nutrient requirement
need. The factory/company will be located at Namayan, Mandaluyong City.

COMPANY LOGO
The logo symbolizes the four (4) owners of the company namely; Geiana Kersha C. Gatdula,
Brenda C. Manalo, Lezeil B. Martires & Tommy R. Varela. Its color signifies the four owners; three light
brown circles represent the girls and dark brown represent the boy. Four circles also exemplify the four
stages of life cycle which means that in whatever phase that the product may face, the linkage will
never break and yield into a stronger bond.

Duties & Responsibilities
Warehouse workers operate under the supervision of a manager or team
leader and are primarily responsible for receiving, sorting, storing, taking inventory,
keeping records and organizing for the shipping of merchandise stored in the
warehouse. The workers are also responsible for operating automated equipment such
as forklifts, conveyor belts, rail cars and high stackers. The work is physically strenuous
so warehouse workers have to be fit. Workers receive on-the-job training to prepare
them for their responsibilities.

Grounds in cooperation with the building principal. Specific duties shall vary with each

Partnership and corporation are required to register in this agency. This is responsible for
supervision of all registered business including suspension and revocation of their registration.
2. Local Government Unit (LGU)
The company should register with the municipality or city where the business will be set up.
They will be the one who will issue the business permit.
3. Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR)

Register the business with this office for assessment and collection of all internal revenue
taxes, fees and charges. The business should apply for taxpayers identification number (TIN),

4. Social Security System (SSS)

number for the business and for the workers.

Sickness - Its a daily cash allowance paid for the number of days a member is unable to
work due to sickness or injury.
Maternity - A daily cash allowance granted to a female member who is unable to work
due to childbirth or miscarriage.
Disability - A cash benefit granted either as a monthly pension or a lump sum amount to
e member who become permanently disable.
Retirement - Its a cash benefit granted either as monthly compensation or a lump sum

Funeral - A funeral grant of Php20 000 to whoever paid for the burial expenses of the

Salary Loan - Its a cash loan granted to an employee, currently- paying self- employed or
voluntary member. It is intended to meet the members short- term credit needs.

7. Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)
If the business will employ five or more workers, they should register with this office. This
agency promotes employment opportunities, protect workers and promote their welfare,
develop human resources, and maintain industrial peace.
Wage and Wage Related Benefit - Wage is the amount paid to an employee in
exchange for a task, piece of work, or service rendered to an employee. Wage may be
fixed for a given period, as when it is computed hourly, daily or monthly. It may also be
fixed for a specified tasks or result. If wage is for a fixed period, the minimum wage for
regular 8 hour workday shall not lower than the minimum daily wage applicable to the
place of work.
Payment of Wages - Wages should be paid in cash, legal tender at or near the place of
work. Payment may be paid through a bank upon written petition of majority of all workers.
