Rainbow Unique Child Care Centre, St. Vincent
Attended the international placement offered by Sheridan College in May, where I worked at the Rainbow
Unique Childcare Centre with children ranging from infant to preschool.
Collaborated with the educator to plan and implement 12 activities as well as 20 spontaneous activities that
are in line with childrens development and interests.
Lead children in all aspects of daily routine; self-care, feeding, toileting, napping, play.
Participated in workshops with current professionals in order to develop their skills and knowledge.
Coordinated and facilitated weekly meetings with professor stationed in Oakville, Ontario
Worked at Hearts in Bloom Academy in the toddler room, with children ranging in age from 18 months to 2.5
years old
Planned and implemented 30 activities as well as 18 spontaneous activities, that are age appropriate,
followed the unique Christian values of the Centre, and that promoted the holistic development of the
children.
Created a visual dressing schedule that assisted children during wintertime dressing.
Worked with and assisted room teachers with daily cleaning, eating, and dressing routines.
Attended a full day PLASP program at Christ the King elementary school, with children ranging from 2 to 4
years old.

Completed over 30 hours of fieldwork at the AGO Weston Family Learning Centre School of Art.
Included on-site observing, shadowing and assisting, research and preparation, as well as leading programs
and designing a lesson concept, for both elementary and secondary school students
Peer Mentor

Official student transition program for OCADU by Campus Life. Assisted new and first year student with their
transition, encouraged involvement and engagement with peer and faculty as well as recognizing and
supporting members to feel welcomed and acknowledged.
