The document discusses the different types of triangles: right triangles have one 90 degree angle; acute triangles have all angles less than 90 degrees; obtuse triangles have one angle greater than 90 degrees. Examples are given such as a sandwich cut in half demonstrating a right triangle or a caution sign showing an acute triangle. The document also defines equilateral triangles with three equal sides, isosceles triangles with two equal angles, and scalene triangles with all unequal sides and angles. Examples such as a pool rack or bicycle frame illustrate these triangle types.

About Triangles
All triangles add up to 180 degrees no
matter what shape they are or the size of their measures There are several different theorems that you use to find a triangle (corresponding, vertical angles, linear pairs, alternate angles)
Right Triangle
Right triangles have a right angle that
measures up to 90 degrees A sandwich cut In half is an example of a right triangle
Acute triangle
An acute triangle has measures that are
always less than 90 degrees A caution sign on the side of the road is a perfect example of an acute triangle
Obtuse triangle
An obtuse triangle has an angle that is
more than 90 degrees A slanted roof on a house is a good example of an obtuse triangle
Equilateral triangle
An equilateral triangle has sides that are
all congruent The rack that you use for pool is a perfect example of an Equilateral triangle
Isoclines triangle
An Isoclines triangle has two angles that
are the same measure A hanger is a good example of a isoclines triangle
Scalene triangle
Scalene triangles has sides that are all
unequal The frame of a bicycle is a good example of a scalene triangle
