Dear Maam/Sir,

Im sorry for being absent in your class last Thursday, March 17, 2016 because of
an emergency that my grandmother was weakening due to her impending health and I
had to go home that day. From that day onwards, I hadnt attended any of your classes
and passed any requirements because on March 19, 2016, unfortunately, my
grandmother passed away and I stayed in my hometown until the 7 th day of her death.
I will be happy to catch up on any missed activity during my own time.
