Export of Coir Products From India For The Month of April - 2015

In April 2015, India exported a total of 32,949 metric tonnes of coir products worth Rs. 3,624.42 lakhs. This represented a 2.5% increase in quantity but an 18.2% decrease in value compared to April 2014. Coir mats saw the highest export volume at 3,502 metric tonnes, while coir fibre had the highest value of exports at Rs. 2,975.68 lakhs. Most categories saw decreases in both quantity and value exported compared to the previous year.
