Intermoforganizationalstructurelevel,stocktransferpostingbetweenplantscanoccurina
samecompanycodeorcrosscompanycodes.
StockTransferPostingbetweenplantsinasamecompanycode
Ifthematerialtransferredbetweenplantsisnotvaluatedmaterial(valueupdate
indicatorisnotsetinthematerialtypeconfigurationfortheplants),thestocktransfer
postingdoesnotaffectaccounting.
Ifthematerialisvaluatedfortheplantswherestocktransferpostingoccursandthe
valuationleveliscompanycode,stocktransferpostingalsodoesnotaffect
accounting.Itsbecausethevalueofacertainmaterialinallplantsinthecompany
codeisthesame.
Ifthematerialisvaluatedfortheplantswherestocktransferpostingoccursandthe
valuationlevelisplant,stocktransferpostingwillaffectaccounting.Iftheprocedure
usedisonesteptransferposting,thetransactionwillcreateaccountingjournalswhen
itsposted.Theinventoryaccountintheissuingplantwillbecreditedandtheoneinthe
receivingplantwillbedebited.Iftheprocedureusedistwostepstransferposting,the

RemovefromStoragetransactionwillcreateaccountingjournalwhenitsposted.
Theinventoryaccountintheissuingplantwillbecredited,andtheoneinthereceiving
plantwillbedebited(althoughintermofquantityitsstillonstockintransferinthe
receivingplant,notinunrestrictedstockyet).
ThePlaceinStoragetransactionwillnotcreateaccountingjournalasitonly
transfersstockintransfertounrestrictedstockinthereceivingplant(inasame
plant).
CrossCompanyCodesStockTransferPosting
CrossCompanyCodesstocktransferpostingisactuallystocktransferpostingbetween
plants(fromaplanttoanotherplant),butbothplantsareunderdifferentcompanycodes.
Ifthematerialtransferredbetweenplantsisnotvaluatedmaterial(valueupdate
indicatorisnotsetinthematerialtypeconfigurationforbothplants),thestocktransfer
postingdoesnotaffectaccounting.
Ifthematerialisvaluatedfortheplantswherestocktransferpostingoccurs,stock
transferpostingwillaffectaccounting,whetherthevaluationlevelisplantorcompany
code(because,iftheplantsareunderdifferentcompanycodes,itmeansthatthey
musthavedifferentvaluationareas).Inordertomakethestocktransferpostingcanbe
donecrosscompanycodes,wehavetomaintaintheclearingaccountforeach
companycode.WecanmaintainitwithOBYAtcode.

Ihavethefollowingissue.Onecompanycodewith2plants(nonbonded,andbonded
warehouse).Whenwebookiastocktransferfromabonded(noncustomscleared)
warehousetoanonbondedwarehousewewouldliketoaddamarkupforduties(%).
Howcanwedothis?
Secondly,wehaveorvendroconsignmentwarehousesthatgotbatches.Ourstockis
basedonbatchvaluation.Saythatourvendorbatschnumber1has1000kg.Then
wewanttopurchase500kgofbatchoneat100EUR,andanother500kgatofthis
batchat1000.intheownstockwewantthentoseebatch1.1at50.000EURand
1.2at500.000.HOwcanwecaputrethis?
