Therefore, students will learn what goods and services can be provided in the areas where people
live. Additionally, this lesson helps introduce the next lesson which is needs and wants.
Global Themes: Students must learn that the economy revolves around goods and services,
which create producers and consumers. People use goods and services as a way to trade as well
as use money. Goods and services help build the economy.
