The document discusses different strategies teachers can use for transitions in the classroom. It evaluates three strategies: 1) counting down from 5 to 1 to signal the end of an activity, 2) ringing a bell to gain students' attention before moving to the next activity, and 3) saying a call-and-response song like "eyes on me" to focus students. The strategies help students transition quickly and efficiently between activities. They also help teachers save time and promote positive student behavior. Building positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families creates a supportive classroom environment.

1- Countdown from 5 to 1
If they have solved a sheet and
the time is over, the teacher starts to countdown from 5 to 1 and the student try to finish it quickly to move on.
I believe that this strategy is
beneficial for the student, because when they hear the teacher start counting they start to harry up and finish their tasks.
2- Ring the bell
Sometimes the teacher uses
the bell rather than counting. When she noticed that they finished their work, she starts ringing the bell, and the student should leave the worksheet or stop doing the activity, and they start to give the teacher their attention.
I believe that this method was useful
because when she start ringing the bell, the student put their stuff and their material and start focusing with her while she should tell the student how many minutes left for them before ringing the bell.
3-The teacher said
as a song 1,2,3 and the student said eyes on me then the teacher said 1,2 student says eyes on you
This word means that the teacher will
begin a new lesson, and when she said this word the student start see the teacher and focus on what she will say.
I think that this strategy is
useful for them because they enjoyed when they sing and I noticed they give the teacher all of their attention.
