Al Wahda Private School


Reception Area

Description:

This is Al-Wahda Private


School reception area. When
parents or visitors come to
the school they sit and wait in
this area.

Al Wahda Private School


Circle Area

Description:
In Al-Wahda private school there
is a circle area. In this circle
area they do the assembly in
the morning. When the school
have an event the teachers take
the students to the circle area to
practice or when the teacher
have a lesson and they only
teach a group of the students
the other group stay in this area
with the assistant and play
different games.

Playground
Description:
The playground area is outside
the kindergarten. There are
sliding areas and swing area.
Some teachers take their
students to the playground
area to reward the students for
their hard work and sometimes
in the lunch time KG1 students
go with the classroom assistant
to play in the playground. KG2
rarely play in the playground.

Resources Room
Description:
In Al-Wahda private school they
have a resources room. There
are different materials in the
recourses room for the
students such as cubes, smart
board and toys. The teacher
sometimes take the students
to the resources room to teach
them. We used this room to
practice with the students for
the performing art assessment.

Lunch Time
Description:
After the third period
students have five minutes
to prepare themselves for
the lunch time. students
wash their hands then
bring their food from their
bags and sit on their places
to eat in the classroom.

Classroom
Description:
In Al-Wahda kindergarten they
have four classrooms, two
classes are for KG1 students and
the other two classes are for
KG2 students. My TP class was
KG2 section A and there were 18
students and my MST was Ms.
Lisa. The classroom have
different areas and materials
that help the student develop
their skills and give the them
the chance to discover new
things.

Circle Time
Description:
In the circle time the
teacher greet the students,
take attendance, review
the classroom rules, ask
different questions, review
the previous lesson and
introduce the new lesson.
In this picture the teacher
was reviewing the numbers
for the students and she
played the numbers song
for them on the smart
board.

Learning Areas
Description:
There are three different
areas in the classroom and
those areas are reading
area, art area and toys
area. The teacher gives the
students 15 minutes to
play in the areas after the
lunch break and when they
finish they have to clean
the areas and return the
materials to its places.
