5. INSTALLATION
5-1. Making processor level
- Level the processor, and then level the printer.
- Maximum distance allowed between the input station and the printer processor is 10 meters
(connected via 100BASE-TX).
(standard accessory cable ST-5) (shielded cable is recommended)
[A level to be used for level adjustment]
Precise level adjustment cannot be performed with a low-precision level. Use a level that
satisfies all of the following conditions:
- Sensitivity is 0.5mm/m (=0.0286 degrees) or higher.
- A level provided with a metal (such as aluminum) frame.
- Length of the frame is 200 mm to 250 mm.

Chart reading method
Read A and B parts, and calculate
differences.
Judge by the number of level bars
that are recognized.
In example A, bars as far as the
"8th chart" are recognized.
Because the number if level bars
is 17: 10+y' = 710+8 78
Similarly in example B, bars as
far as"5th chart" are recognized.
The number of level bars are 7 in
this example also. Therefore:
710+5 = 75
Thus,
B-Ais 75-78= 3
This example does not require
adjustment.
