Introduction: Students will be given 15 minutes to translate their vocabulary as a bell

Instructional Activities and Procedures:
1. Students will be given 15 minutes to translate their vocabulary as a bell work
over greetings.
2. We will jump into the power point presentation over greetings.
3. Students will get to discuss the topic, fill out the handout, and practice with their
vocabulary flashcard in small groups for 25 minutes.

As a class we will play a game about greeting as a whole class for about 20-25
minutes.
5. On last 5 minutes of class students will take a short quiz over the lesson.

Modifications/Differentiated Instruction:
For GT students Im going to ask fewer questions but make them memorize more
vocabulary. For ESL students Im going to make shorter handout on their level and give
them more time if needed. I will print out bigger font sized handouts and flashcards for
students with disabilities.
Evaluation: Students will take a 5 minutes long short quiz over the topic we discussed.
Closure: Take a short 5 minutes long quiz over the topic that was discussed.
