Et347 Pinterest and Lms Matrix

This document provides an example of how a first grade teacher could integrate various technologies into lessons to meet Colorado academic standards and ISTE standards. It outlines potential teaching examples using Pinterest and Edmodo, as well as student examples of activities on these platforms. Differentiation strategies are also discussed, such as providing audio options or partner work. The matrix matches lessons with standards, instructional approaches like constructivism and gamification, and Bloom's taxonomy levels.

Teacher will utilize

Pinterest tags to

grade math class.
For example, one
counting to 120
activity found on
Pinterest is by
using a number

to 120. When
students do
something well or
make right
choices, the
teacher can tell
them to mark a
number on their

fill in an entire row

Reflection: I had a bit of difficulty thinking of original ideas for this matrix. It seems to me that Edmodo and other LMSs are very
similar to ePortfolios, depending on how the ePortfolio is made. It was difficult for me to fully distinguish the differences between
an LMS and the ePortfolio. One aspect of Edmodo that I did really like was the quiz section because the teacher was able to make
a variety of types of quizzes (multiple choice, matching, etc.). I also really liked the discussion board on Edmodo. I think this is a
great way for students to work together and have discussions outside of class. I tried to incorporate these into my matrix as
much as possible.
