Lifelong Wellness Application Paper

Write a paragraph on each of the following:
1. What did you learn about lifelong wellness from taking this General
Education class?
With this life long wellness class I learned the importance of staying
healthy not only physically but also mentally. I feel like meditation really
helped me in a way of focusing on my thoughts and having a more
positive outlook on things, not only my actions but also on thoughts
towards others and thoughts towards myself.

2. How would you apply this information to your life?

I was able to apply this into my life through out the semester. I have a
hard time dealing with stress but being able to sit and meditate for a short
period of time when I did get stressed really helped me. I was able to
refocus on things I needed to do and i was also more positive in doing
things.

3. What is your intention to continue to practice what you have learned in

your life and why?
One thing that really helped me this semester was all the different
breathing techniques. A lot of them I have used at different times in the
semester like dealing with stress or getting myself to relax and that has
probably been the most helpful thing and I continue to use that in my
daily life after this semester.

4. General ideas for improving this course?

Over all I feel like I've learned a lot because I didnt know anything about
meditation. So I think that this course is good the way it is and I don't
know if I would change anything!
