Work Experience
Although I have had no formal work experience yet, I have never been one to be without a project.
I have had a lot of enjoyment and self-fulfilment through my own personal ventures.
Victory Gaming: Self Employed / 2014 Present
As a keen gamer, I have found great pleasure in running my own gaming server that other players
joined and donated to. Part of running Victory Gaming was to start a YouTube Channel which now
has over 650 subscribers. I also run a live stream on Stream.me which has a further 500 followers
and an average of 200 viewers per stream. These ventures have provided me with a steady
income through donations and adverts, which I have used to continue the growth of Victory
Gaming and also fund some of my other interests and activities.
Landscape Gardening July to August 2015
After I had completed my GCSE exams I had 10 weeks before the start of my college course. My
family was in the process of selling our home, but there were improvements that I knew I could
help with. I was paid to landscape the garden with the help of my friend who I employed. We had to
remodel the garden, level areas, lay flags and plant decorative feature areas. It was great to work
as a team, learn new skills from each other and we were proud of the finished product. I am
pleased to say that since completing the garden the house had many more views and a sale has
now been secured. I believe that our hard work added value and played a big part in the sale.
Interior Decorating November 2015
During my free Thursdays and Fridays, I started a project for a friend of the family. I stripped down
the old wallpaper on his walls to find there was more work at hand than the job initially entailed
however I saw this as a learning experience and didnt give up, I plastered the cracks in the walls
and sanded them down smooth. I then protect the walls by making a sealant with water and PVA
to a ratio of 1:1. From this point I put up horizontal lining paper and used filler to fill in the gaps
between the paper, I then sanded down the filler to create a smooth surface for the wallpaper.
After the walls where prepped I put up the patterned wallpaper, to give a proper finish I corked all
the way round the edges. I completed this project quickly and efficiently and did it at a very high
standard; the owner of the house was very impressed with my work, not only did I gain a fair wage
from this but I also gained a fair few skills I wouldnt have learnt if I didnt take this project on.

Current Interests
Creativity: I enjoy being creative whether it be sketching, game design, video editing or creative
writing for game/movie scripts. My skills are self-taught and have found learning new techniques to
be fun and interesting. I love using Software to create something new and unique from scratch
using programs such as Photoshop or Maya.
Sailing: I have recently started a new sailing course at Scammonden Dam Sailing club. We are
learning about how to control the boat, keeping safe and what to do in an emergency. I am finding
the course to be inspiring and happy to have taken on a new hobby. I am looking forward to using
my new sailing skills in a real life situation when I go on a Catamaran holiday in the Caribbean next
year.
Walking: Throughout the years, I have climbed multiple peaks, these including the 3rd highest
mountain in Britain helvellyn, 2nd highest Mountain in Britain Snowden and I am currently planning
a trip to Scotland to climb the tallest mountain in Britain Ben Nevis.
