Vision/Goals
I believe we have the power to effect change in student's lives
by empowering them. This has the potential to carry them
through their educational years and into their adult lives. We,
as educators, can do this by providing the teachers with tools
and skills sets to support their students, allowing them to be
successful, even through their struggles.
To support the students by empowering the teachers who are having a difficult
time finding accommodations that enable struggling students to reach their
fullest potential.
To inform the parents during SST (Student Study Team) meetings about
supports that were used with their students and which ones worked and didn't
work.
Create a growth mindset and optimistic attitude among the teachers when
faced with challenging students.
Provide ongoing support for teachers even after this capstone project has been
completed, by means of professional development, student observations, etc.
