Business intelligence tools have gained popularity but their impact on corporate performance is unknown. This document proposes a study to address this gap by surveying Malaysian public companies to investigate: (1) What BI tools they use, (2) How effective BI is on performance, and (3) Whether BI enhances corporate performance. The central research question is whether there is a relationship between companies using BI tools and the impact on corporate performance.
