2.2 CASF System

In the exercise associated with this session of the course I want to


practice calculating the percentage oxide composition of the binary
and ternary compounds present in the binary, ternary and quaternary
systems composed of CaO-SiO2-Al2O3-Fe2O3.
I.e. calculating the CaO and SiO2 content of C3S, C2S, C3S2, CS,
etc..to do that you will need the molecular
.56, 60,
weights of CaO, SiO2, Al2O3 and Fe2O3
102 and 159.5 respectively.
As usual I would like you to do this using a template so please
send me an email to [email protected] when you are
ready to complete the exercise and I will send you the template.
