How to use Virtual COM function of


IFD9506

Structure:

Purpose: were going to connect PLC through IFD9506 by using Virtual COM function
Circumstance: while the PC doesnt have the RS-232 or RS-485 port except RJ-45 port

Step1: opening the software of DCIsoft and search for the existed devices of IFD9506

IFD9506 firmware version:

Step2: Double click the device which youre using to connect to PLC and
having the parameter setup. Then, pressing OK when setup is done

Step3: Clicking

in order to set up the function of Virtual COM. Pressing

OK when setup is done.

Step4: Opening the WPLsoft to monitor the value of devices of PLC by using Virtual COM

( Note: you have to select the absolute station address which is D1121s number )
