General Conditions

Application process
Only online application forms and recommendations submitted electronically can be
considered.
Only one application for one specific programme may be submitted per year.
Application fees are non-refundable.
Applicants are responsible for ensuring their application is complete and for monitoring
the progress of their application via online status updates.
Once an application has been submitted, no additional materials or changes can be
considered.
Applicants are responsible for meeting all costs related to authenticating their
application documents.
Admission decisions
The Graduate Institute may at any time require applicants to provide further
information, in addition to the documents submitted as part of the application. If an
applicant is unable to provide the required information, the Institute reserves the right
to cease consideration of his/her application, to withdraw any offer of admission
already made, and/or to terminate the applicant's status as a student.
Due to the large volume of applications received, no justification will be provided to
candidates who are not admitted.
The Graduate Institute has a non-deferral policy: offers of admission cannot be
deferred to a subsequent year. The only exception is the presence "force majeure"
reasons, such as officially documented illness, accident or decease of a relative.
Admitted students must pay a CHF 1,000 pre-registration fee to secure their place by
30 January (application deadlines 10 October, 15 November) or 15 April (application
deadline 15 January). This amount will not be refunded, except for "force majeure"
reasons as described above or for non- fulfilment of admission conditions. This amount
will be deducted from the first semester tuition invoice.

Processus de candidature
Seuls les formulaires de candidature en ligne et les recommandations envoyes
lectroniquement seront valus.
Une seule candidature peut tre soumise pour un seul programme par anne.
Les frais d'inscription ne sont pas remboursables.
Les candidats doivent veiller ce que leur candidature soit complte. Ils sont
responsables du suivi du statut de leur candidature via les notifications en ligne.

Une fois que la candidature a t soumise, aucun document supplmentaire ou


changement ne seront pris en compte.
Les candidats assument tous les cots pour l'authentification des documents lis
leur candidature.
Dcisions dadmission
L'Institut peut tout moment exiger des candidats de fournir un complment
dinformation, en plus des documents soumis dans le cadre de la candidature. Si un
candidat n'est pas en mesure de le faire, l'Institut se rserve le droit de cesser
l'examen de sa candidature, de retirer toute offre d'admission dj faite et / ou de
mettre fin son statut d'tudiant.
En raison du grand nombre de candidatures reues, aucune justification ne sera
fournie aux candidats qui ne sont pas admis.
L'admission ne peut tre reporte une anne ultrieure, l'exception de cas de force
majeure, tels que maladie, accident ou dcs d'un parent, documents par un
certificat.
Les tudiants admis doivent payer une taxe de pr-inscription de CHF 1000 avant le
30 janvier (dlais de candidature du 10 octobre et du 15 novembre) ou avant le
15 avril (dlai de candidature du 15 janvier) afin de confirmer leur place. Ce montant
ne sera pas rembours, sauf pour des raisons de force majeure ou en cas de nonrespect des conditions d'admission. Cette somme sera dduite de la facture dcolage
du premier semestre.
