Midas CTD 606 Setup

CTD SETUP

Open DataLog Express

Click communicate

Select COM1 ---->RS232---->Baud Rate 9600----->Click Next


(if couldnt connect then try and error)
[Type: Depends on which cable/method u connect]

Click Next

Click Change Setup

Select Profile------>Next

Tick Synchronise instrument to PC when setting instrument ----->Next

Select Metric---->Tick Apply to pressure---->Next

Set Profile Start Point (0.1) & Profile Interval (1.0) --> Next

Enter site information, Local latitude (biar) ---->Next


Tick Set Pressure Tare ---->Finish Setup

Click Run
Select Self recording ----> Next

Select OK. Equipment ready to deploy.


Cucuk 9pin plug , observe the blinking. Blinking stop Deploy.

After Recover, CTD Data Upload

Click Communicate

Click Next

Click Next

Click Upload Screen

Select the data acquired (Usually the latest and biggest file size) -----> Click
Upload Files

Click OK. Open data in c:\Valeport Software\DataLog Express\(serial no folder).


Check acquire data: date, pressure (Depth), salinity etc.
