KvB Institute of Technology, the largest private design college in Australia, offers courses at
degree, diploma and certificate levels in

* Visual Communication

The Institute is currently seeking qualified staff for 2003. Duties will include preparation and
delivery of lectures within the Bachelor of Arts (Visual Communication)degree program.

Additionally, the Institute is seeking individuals capable of delivering theory lectures in


modules which address design in relation to its cultural context, the role of designers within
the digital media, the semiotics of design, as well as more general areas such as philosophy,
cultural theory, and the psychology of visual perception, among others.

Applicants must have an udergraduate degree and a post graduate degree or equivalent.
They must also possess formal educational qualifications such as a Graduate Certificate in
Tertiary Education (or its equivalent) and have some prior teaching experience. Experience
working in the designor fine arts professions, as well as doctoral research is also desirable.
