Present Tense Project 1

The simple present tense is used for habits and states. Habits refer to actions that happen regularly, such as daily activities. States refer to things that do not often change, such as opinions. Examples of habits include going to class every day and always talking about family. Examples of states include where someone lives and their hair color or likes. The present continuous tense is used for temporary actions happening now and definite plans for the future. Temporary actions are those occurring presently but will stop, like it raining now. Definite plans are arrangements that will happen, like playing soccer tomorrow.
