LLHA Sept Entry

The Lakehead Light Horse Association will host an open horse show on September 25-26, 2010. Proper show attire is required, including boots and a hat. Youth cannot handle stallions. Lead line is open to all youth but they cannot enter other riding classes. Horses must be shown in a shank bit if over 6 years old in western classes. Patterns may be used for some classes. Pre-entries are due by September 23rd and late entries will be charged a $10 fee. Stalls can be rented for $15 each day.

Lakehead Light Horse Association Open Horse Show

Saturday, September 25th and Sunday, September 26th, 2010

Clean, neat show attire required — hat or helmet and boots with heels are mandatory
Youth are not allowed to handle stallions
Lead Line is open to all youth but cannot enter any other riding class
Same horse/rider combination entering Walk/Trot class cannot enter any class requiring a
lope/canter
NO martingales or training devices allowed in classes
Horses age 6 and over MUST be shown in a shank bit in all Western classes ONE-
HANDED with the exception of Green Horse classes
There may be patterns for all equitation and horsemanship classes. Patterns will be
available for Western Riding and Reining classes.
There will be a strict 2 minute gate policy, unless requested prior to show
Pre-entries are due Thursday, September 23rd, 2010. Any late entries will be assessed a
$10 late fee. Fees are not due until the day of the show.
