What’s New? Happenings in Our Class

August Character Trait is The students are amazing! I can tell already what a fun, intelligent,
COOPERATION!! and kind-hearted class we will have. I am looking forward to
building a respecting relationship with each child.

Weekly Quizzes The first few days, the students have participated in several activities
getting to know each other and I can see some new friendships
Friday ~ Math Check up and forming, old friendships growing stronger, and excitement to be with
their classmates.
Spelling test
We have also covered daily routines, created our classroom norms
and expectations.
Students also took 3 inventories (tests) this week! They were
Future Plans!
spectacular! They got right to work without any hesitation and
Aug 24- Fall Pictures asked wonderful questions. These tests will help our grade level
identify students who need extra help, and will provide us with
Aug 27- Book orders due information about skills that need to be retaught or emphasized in
the classroom. Your children amazed me as they worked hard
Sept. 6- No school
followed directions. It is obvious they care about their education.
