i. Listen and repeat accurately to correct pronunciation of words.


ii. Pronounce 3 and 4 syllable words.
iii. Read simple paragraph
iv. Answer spelling exercise

Activities : The English Hour

Shared reading

1. Teacher distributes short text.


2. Teacher reads repeat after by pupils.
3. Teacher asks pupils to remember as many words as they can.
4. After that, teacher asks them to write the word back.
5. Teacher discusses the answer and explains the meaning of those words.

Teaching points

1. Teacher tells pupils to refer to page 62.


2. Teacher says that words and pupils repeat.
3. Teacher stress on 2 syllable, 3 and 4 syllable words.

4. After that, teacher explains how the machines in the pictures operate.

Guided reading/independent work

1. Teacher lets the pupils to practice reading the words accurately by using correct

the class today.
