Believe in His Name

Those who witnessed Jesus' miracles in Jerusalem at the Passover came to truly believe in His name. To believe means to have complete faith and confidence in the truth without any doubt. The Bible says that those who believe in Jesus will obey His commands, love others, walk humbly before God, and perform the works that Jesus did and even greater works. The passage encourages the reader to believe in Jesus' name today by having faith in Him.

Exalt His Name Today

[The Discerner of Hearts] Now when He was in Jerusalem at the Passover,

during the feast, many believed in His name when they saw the signs which
He did. John 2:2 3NKJV

Those who believed in His name witnessed His miracles. It was through
their witnessing of His miracles that they came to truly believe. What does it
mean to believe? It means to have confidence, existence and reliability or
faith in the truth. It means to be persuaded of, without a doubt.
Today, do you believe?

The Bible tells us there are ways to be sure, that we truly believe. Those who
believe in Jesus will walk as He walks. They will obey his commands and
teachings. They will love and not hate. They will walk humbly before God,
not boastful and full of pride. The Bible also says they will perform the same
works as He did.

Very truly, I tell you, the one who believes in me will also do the works that I
do and, in fact, will do greater works than these, because I am going to the
Father (Jn. 14:12).

Do you believe in His name today?
