The objectives of the PM & C Programme are to enable better communication between group and corporate management regarding the progress of major projects, allow group management to more closely monitor major project progress, and provide group personnel the capability to better manage and control major projects. Specifically, the programme aims to establish a reporting and control system for communicating project activity with group and corporate management, initially for high-cost capital projects and then expanding to "critical" and all other projects, along with developing a procedures manual.
