WRITING ASSIGNMENT SOLUTIONS

Assignments are not only exercises in solving problems, they are also exercises in
developing clear, logical and concise written presentation skills. Consequently,
assignment solutions must follow the following format rules:

a) Solutions must be written neatly, clearly demonstrating the methods and

arguments used to arrive at the final answers.
b) Final answers must be identified clearly, e.g. circled, boxed, or underlined.
c) Any diagrams must be large and clear. It is recommended that diagrams
occupy at least a third of a page.

Graders will be instructed to assign a mark of zero to any solution which does not
meet these requirements.

Don’t forget to put your name, ID, assignment number and date on the assignment
solution.
