Panther Band Rehearsal/Performance Schedule

for Week of Sept. 27- Oct. 2

Monday, Sept. 27 (normal AM)

• Woodwinds 4:30-5:45 p.m. / Guard 4:30-6:30 p.m.

Tuesday, Sept. 28 (normal AM)

• Brass 4:30-5:45 pm

Wednesday, Sept. 29 (normal AM w/ BAND SHOES)

Possible Guest at the morning rehearsal

Percussion 4:30-6 p.m. / Guard 4:30-6:30 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 30 (normal AM w/ BAND SHOES)

• Normal Day Outside during class

Friday, Oct. 1

• Pep Rally Day---No Change Day

4:10 p.m. Game Day Dinner in Cafeteria…You can only eat in cafeteria or courtyard…
DO NOT BRING FOOD in any part of M or N building!

5:30 p.m. Pick up uniform in Dierolf Hall and change in M building restrooms and
storage rooms. No one can use or change in ORCHESTRA HALL OR DIEROLF HALL.

5:50 p.m. Be fully dressed for bus loading (casual shorts and shirt on/bibbers on/black
socks & shoes on/coat in bag/hat in hat box/instrument…no cases…and music/lyre)

6 p.m. Report outside to load buses and depart for Farris stadium (you may only ride the
bus assigned to you). You will be dismissed to buses by a DIRECTOR ONLY!

Once we pull into parking lot THERE SHOULD BE NO TALKING until we get into the
stands! When you step off the bus…you are fully dressed (short sleeve formal uniform
still PLUS GUANTLETS/ GLOVES from this point on!)

10:15-10:30 p.m. Return to OHS. Have your RIDE WAITING for you! Uniform check in
will be the same. Enter front of Dierolf…exit back door.

REMINDER: No jewelry (Senior Rings only), No cell phones in stands.


Saturday, Oct. 2 - Drums Along the Medina Marching Contest

2:35 p.m. - Call time/TUNE (ARRIVE in Black Socks/Shoes/Shorts/Band Shirt)


``````Note: Students should eat Breakfast & lunch before arriving at
school.

2:45 p.m. – WW TUNE in Auditorium/ Brass Dress then switch/ Percussion wu


& Load… (We will travel EXACTLY LIKE WE DID FOR NISD FESTIVAL!)

3:50 p.m. - Buses leave for Southwest High School Stadium.

5 p.m. - Warm up at SWHS.

• 5:45 p.m. – Perform************************


• 6:15 p.m. – Participate in awards ceremony
• 6:45 p.m.- Load and depart for school
• 7:25 p.m.- Arrive back at OHS and head HOME!

Water should be with us at Warm Up Area A (Shaded area next to street as last
year)

We will post a map and full contest schedule as soon as it arrives.
