Microsoft SQL Server 2005

How to send the data through Server? 
Following Steps are required.... 

Note: During these steps all entries should be stopped or in the end of day when all work have 
been done. 

1  Go to Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 

2  After Login Authentication, come to Object Explorer (Left side of Screen)  

3  Right Click of your Database name 

 
4  Click Properties    Select File                   Note the path where your database is placed  

  (Just note it)  

5  Now again right click on your database name (e.g Beoe_Lhr) 

6  Select Task   select Detach  

 
7  Press OK 

8  Come to that Path, which you have noted and Copy both file (*.mdf and *.ldf) and place it in 
other folder.  

9  Zip that folder with proper name and send to Bureau email address [email protected] 
and through skpe. 

  (e.g File name should be like this “PeLahore 26‐06‐2009 .zip , PeKarachi 25‐06‐2009.zip”) 

 
Attaching Database Process 
 

10   Now come to Object Explorer and Right click of Databases and select Attach 

11  Following screen will be appeared and press Add Button 

 
12   Select your database (.mdf) file. And press OK 

13  The following screen will appear and press ok 

14  Now Data entry operator can start the entries.
