Holy Week

Holy Week begins on Palm Sunday and commemorates the last week of Jesus' life leading up to Easter. It includes Palm Sunday, when Jesus entered Jerusalem to crowds laying palm branches in his path; Maundy Thursday, when Jesus had the Last Supper with his disciples; and Good Friday, when Jesus was crucified on the cross. Good Friday is particularly somber as Christians meditate on Jesus' suffering and death, and what it means for their faith.
