Education Management Information System (EMIS)

An Education Management Information System (EMIS) is not a software or data collection process, but rather a system for managing information to plan, manage, and evaluate an education system. An EMIS is responsible for promoting information use, evaluating educational performance, processing statistics, facilitating continuous training and development, and processing data at the provincial level in a decentralized manner. The long-term vision of EMIS is to establish a demand-driven, sustainable system supported by stakeholders at the federal and state levels.
