Second Form English

Date: February 2nd -6th

Topic: Pronoun Antecedent Agreement

Materials: Text pgs. 83-84

Objectives:

1. Students will be able to identify pronouns and their antecedents and make them agree in
person, gender and number.
2. Identify pronouns in the nominative and objective cases and correctly use them in sentences.
3. Discuss Natural Resources in our country.
4. Read and respond to a comprehension passage: The Byeyo Tree and the Okango Bird.

Activities:

1. Teacher will lecture on the topics.


2. Students will take notes, complete practice exercises individually and with a partner and also
write sentences of their own correctly using pronouns.
3. Students will read and respond to a comprehension passage and identify the correct use of
pronouns throughout the passage.
