Word Within The Word Note Cards

This document provides instructions for creating note cards to learn vocabulary roots and their meanings. Students should write the word with the root underlined on the front of note cards and the definition of the word with the root's meaning underlined on the back. An example is also provided showing the word "vitality" with the root "VITA" meaning "LIFE" written on the front and back, respectively.

Word within the Word Note Cards

On 3 x 5 note cards or self-made note cards, do the following for EACH vocabulary root from EACH assigned list. You may handwrite or type your cards.
