This document provides material classifications for piping used in work number 6249 EPCM. The piping materials from 1-6 inches will be glass reinforced epoxy (GRE) resin with thermosetting polyester resin (RTRP). This includes pipe, elbows, tees, reducers, caps, couplers, and adaptors. Flanges, blind flanges, and valves will be carbon steel. Bolts and nuts for the GRE flanges will be stainless steel. All joints for GRE piping will be bonded using an adhesive. The service is for treated effluent water and high TDS effluent water.

(A57) All inline flanged components and companion flanges of equipment and metallic piping shall
have a flat face gasket seating area.
(A58) Flange to be drilled according to ASME B16.5, CL.150.
(A59) All RTRP/GRE piping to be UV(Ultra Violet) resistant.
(A60) To be connected by Adhensive Bonding (Restrained Type Joint).
