I am here today to talk a little bit about Beta Alpha Psi and the accounting club!
First things first, this is going to be a short presentation and I won’t be able to tell you
everything I would like so please know that all of this information is available on our
website

Beta Alpha Psi and the accounting club are two professional organizations dedicated to
the personal and professional development of YOU.

 BAP won Organization for the ENTIRE University of Tampa in 2010


 We have all of the Big 4 coming to our Meetings this semester! (E&Y, KPMG, PWC, and
D&T)
 These companies are the TOP 4 on BUSINESS WEEKS BEST PLACE TO LAUNCH A
CAREER!
 You have the opportunity to travel the country – New York, Nashville, St. Louis, San Jose,
CA.
 We will help you start your career!

The following events are on the back of the flyers I am passing out!

 September 6th-9th 3-5pm Walk in Resume Critiques in Career Services


 September 14th @ 10pm in JS 236 Interest meeting for BAP and the ACC Club also on
 September 15th @ 4pm Packets are DUE
 September 15th 4-6pm Meet the Firms in Fletcher Lounge

There will be alumni, faculty, members, and candidates who will talk about Beta Alpha
Psi and how much they enjoyed as well as how most of them have a job directly because
of the exposure they received to the professional community in BAP. There will also be
food, drinks, and prizes

Pass out flyers and give away something to someone in the class!

NOTE:
 Flyers - one side Accounting Club, one side BAP
 Coffee Mugs - Given out as prizes at classroom visits (one random flyer will have a star at each classroom visit and that
person will get a mug. Extras can be given to professionals [speakers])
 Everyone going to a classroom visit will wear some form of BAP attire (t-shirt, cardigan, hat, polo, etc. You will get this
free for participating in recruitment)
 If we recruit 36 candidates (my goal) that is $5,400 the first semester and $3,600 the second which equal $10,000 (we have
to give $50 a piece to nationals). That is more than $5,000 more than last year (more than worth the $600 investment). I
need this approval in order to bring on more members than ever before with a 66% increase in dues.
