Work Experience details

• I am currently working in Optimization division, Radio Access Network department of


Banglalink (Second largest telecom operator in Bangladesh) from 3rd September,
2006

I have multivendor experience of the following systems:


 Ericsson
 Siemens (BR 7,8,10)
 Huawei

Key responsibilities:

 Day to day optimization works


 EDGE implementation
 EDGE capacity planning align with marketing requirement
 Parameter tuning for both voice and data service
 Counter analysis and KPI formation for both voice and data service
 Optimization tools development
 Conduct new Feature trial
 Making standard template for other technical groups to use it.
 Act as project manager from RAN part of BSS up-gradation project.
 Monitoring & maintaining the radio KPI of network, BSC and Cell level
 Budget planning for densification sites in co-ordination with Marketing.
 Plan actions for various marketing or country events (like EID, Concert etc)

 Bringing new ideas/ techniques to meet new challenges and paying attention to

Achievement:
 Introduce data service to banglalink from the scratch to its matured position from
access network side. I was project manager to run this project. I myself have
defined all the KPI and parameter settings for data service in Siemens and
Ericsson network.

 I have developed enormous tools for optimization and report generation.

• I was in Process Improvement, Customer Demographic Management, and Call center


department of GRAMEEN PHONE LTD. (Largest telecom operator in Bangladesh)
from 18th January, 2006 to 24th August, 2006.

Responsibility:
 Generating idea for improved customer experience to make GP lead the market.
 Generating idea for process & system improvement.
 Recommending and developing software for internal use.
 Process Audit and recommendation of improvement of all departments of
Customer Management Division, Sales Division, and Logistic division of
Grameen phone Ltd.

Achievement:
 “Scan Booster” – one of the software developed by me is used in
GrameenPhone. It has been saving a lot of man hours of GrameenPhone
everyday.
 “ITMT” – an inventory and task management software developed by me is used
in departmental administration offices of GrameenPhone Ltd.
 Interactive Plan of CDM, GrameenPhone is developed by me.
