On-The - Spot Powerpoint Presentation Making Contest

The University of San Carlos Datalogics Society is holding an on-the-spot PowerPoint presentation making contest open to all computer science students. The contest will take place on February 16, 2011 from 8 AM to 12 PM, where participants will be given materials to create a presentation in 90 minutes and then present it in 10 minutes to judges. Interested students must register by January 28, and awards including cash prizes will be given to the Champion, 1st Runner Up, and 2nd Runner Up at the awarding ceremony on February 4, 2010.

ON-THE- SPOT POWERPOINT PRESENTATION MAKING CONTEST

OFFICIAL RULES/GUIDELINES:

1. The competition is open to all students of the Department of Computer Science.


2. The competition will be held at LB445 on February 16, 2011 from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
3. Each contestant will be given handouts and a limited number of resources for images and the
like to make a creative Powerpoint presentation. They will be given an hour and thirty minutes
to complete the presentation and thirty minutes to prepare for presentation proper. After
which, they must present their works in front of a panel of judges within 10 minutes only.
4. Awarding will be held on February 4, 2010. Cash prizes and certificates of recognition await the
winners.
5. Interested contestant/s must get and fill up a registration form on or before Friday, January 28
at LB 464 or contact Angeli De los Reyes at 09222066111.
6. Admission is FREE. Limited slots are available. First Come First Served Basis.
